Aaaah, Spring Break

Time for lots of work, cleaning, and more work.
Oh, well.
Dad bought me three VERY cool books over the weekend – The Gashleycrumb Tinies, The Epilectic Bicycle, and The Object-lesson, all by Edward Gorey. I didn’t have any of those three under their own cover, and now I do! The Epilectic Bicycle is one of my favorite Gorey books. My favorite part is “As they were riding through a long puddle, an alligator rose up in front of them. Embley kicked it on the nose and it expired.” The Alligator says “ho!” when it first appears, and “I die!” after Embley kicks it.
Marvellous.
