Wow.
Watched Shadow of the Vampire and Platoon today. *sniffle* Both very good films, although rather harrowing.
It was nice to see Willem be all studly and handsome in Platoon, not to mention that he was a good guy. I did have to laugh when one of the other characters gripes that Sgt. Elias (Dafoe) thinks he’s “Jesus Christ himself” – I said to Kay, who watched ’em with me, “no, that was in another film. Heh.
Managed to avoid going out to Blockbuster and renting several other Willem films, but only because Kay had brought this week’s “The West Wing” with her. Yay for Kay! :)
