My name is Ealasaid A. Haas, and I am a recent graduate of Stanford University’s Masters program in Journalism. I am desperate for a job to pay off the huge loans I had to take out to get my degree, and I hope you can help.
See, education is expensive. Thankfully, education also makes it possible to pay off those debts. I am a talented and well-trained writer with five years of experience writing for various newspapers and organizations on a variety of topics. I’m best at film reviews because that is where my primary interest and most of my experience lie, but I have also done regular news.
In 2000, I graduated cum laude and with departmental honors from Occidental College with a B.A. in English Literature. The following year I graduated from Stanford University with an M.A. in Communications. At Stanford, I went through the Communications Department’s Journalism program, and focused my electives on film studies and film criticism.
At this point, I think I would fetch coffee and do research if I could get paid enough for it to move out.
