I’m a real reviewer now!

I have been accused via email of giving “Hoodlum” a negative review because the director is black. Somehow I feel all grown up now, like I wasn’t a real reviewer until someone disagreed with me for a patently absurd reason.
I wanted to like “Hoodlum.” Really, I did. And Lawrence Fishbourne and Tim Roth were great in it. But the movie was lousy. Not to say that nobody could love it (Hell, I think “Highlander II: The Quickening,” aka “Highlander II: The Sickening” is one of the most enjoyable films ever) but to say I don’t like it out of racism is a bit of a stretch, I think.
Aaah, I love the internet.
