Credit Cards

You know, my AP English teacher once said of credit cards, “just think of them, and I don’t mean to be negative, as instruments of the devil.”

He was right.

I started hammering away at my unpleasantly high credit card debt (run up when I was foolish enough to go to England in spite of my hours being cut at work and then was further foolish enough to have surgery on top of that and couldn’t work at all for four weeks) back in … oh, December or so.

Today I finally got the last damn penny paid off. Go me.
