This week’s Monday Mission.
- Are you good at responding to emails and/or Blog comments?
I’m so-so. When I’m really busy, email is the first thing to suffer. I don’t get many blog comments, so I don’t usually have to worry about replies to ’em suffering. :) - Does it make you crazy when people won’t reply to your emails even though you know good and well that they are reading them?
Yes. - What’s the most unusual thing you’ve had inside your body?
Hm… hard to say. I haven’t had a
ny impaling injuries (aside from stepping on a horrible twig as a young child and having to soak the hell out of my foot for a couple days to disinfect/help it heal). I haven’t eaten anything weird that I know of. - What person from your past would you most like to run into and visit with for an afternoon? Why them? What person would you like to not ever see again as long as you live? How come?
Man, that I don’t know. Probably my mom’s dad or my mom’s mom. Grandpa died a year ago and I never really got to know him all that well – one visit of several days isn’t really enough, you know? And Grandma started falling prey to Alzheimer’s several years ago, before I got out of my know-it-all teenager phase (shut up, I am too out of that phase. I am! Really.) so I didn’t really get to know her as a person, just as “Grandma, who’s sweet but thinks I should wear makeup and skirts so boys will like me.” - What was the last bad meal you (or your special someone) paid too much for? What’s the story there?
Hm… I don’t know. - If out-of-the-blue you were forced to find a new career, if there was just suddenly no need for your field of expertise, just what job do you imagine you would seek out? Do you have any skills you can “fall back on?” (If you stay at home or are a student, adjust to fit your situation)
Boy, I don’t know. I currently have several “fields of expertise.” If I couldn’t write reviews, design web pages, or teach, I’d probably go back to file clerking at a law firm. - If you were to open up your own restaurant, what would it be called and what type of food would you serve? Describe the “feel” of the place (the decor, the music, etc).
Ooh, what a neat question! I’d probably go for a Chinese place, because I love Chinese food. Hm… maybe I’d go with an attempt at a retro, fancy Chinese palace kind of feel, retro!kitsch sort of thing. - BONUS: How long can you stand the heat?
Not long at all. :)
