Wow. One more reason to hate the Catholic church: they’re telling people in poor countries that condoms won’t stop the transmission of HIV, so the only solution is abstinence.

I can’t put into words how enraged this makes me. The Catholic church, as an organization, has a lot to answer for. Hypocrisy, abuse, lies, the works. It’s a shame, because the religion itself has some positive aspects. But the organization is rapidly heading into the “evil” side of my tally sheet.
