This week’s Monday Mission. Only two more to go… :(
- Have you ever had a dream so real, that inside the dream you had to fight to wake yourself up? Do you remember the dream?
Yes. I’ve had several, usually nightmares. I remember them but usually try not to think about them much. - How would you define the concept of a “soul-mate” is? Do you believe in such things? Have you met your soul-mate?
Hm… I tend to define a “soul-mate” as the one person in the world you’re destined to be with, who fits you perfectly in every way and is your ultimate compliment. I don’t believe in soul mates because I find the concept kind of depressing. In a world of billions, there’s only ONE man for me? Dood. No way. I like to think there are a number of men who would make me happy if we got together. - What does it take to make men happy anyway?
Who knows? My guess: compassion, understanding, good sex, good food, and being needed (but not smothered). - What is your favorite piece of electric hardware, and why?
Hm… probably my computer. I don’t have a stereo, tv, or discman. I don’t even have an MP3 player! My computer plays my music and I mooch off my parent’s and boyfriend’s TV setups. :) My computer hooks me in to the internet and all that fun, as well as letting me play stress-relieving, violent games. - Have you ever stopped to help a stranded motorist? Has anyone ever stopped to help you when you were stranded? Isn’t there some element of risk involved when helping someone with car trouble, or is it better to just “do unto others as you’d have them do unto you?”
You know, I haven’t ever stopped to help a stranger. No stranger has ever stopped to help me, though, either. I do think there’s always an element of risk, but that isn’t why I don’t do it. I’m usually in a TERRIBLE hurry whenever I’m driving anywhere, so I don’t have TIME to stop. - Just for fun, what is the one present you’d like for Christmas, but you know there is no way you will?
Hm… one pressie I’d like for Christmas but doubtless won’t get… a full time job as a movie reviewer. Or an MP3 player. :) - What are you thankful for this Christmas [or your current holiday this season]?
All kinds of things. My family, who support my insane ambition to make a living as a movie reviewer. My boyfriend, who supports my ambitions and showers me with love. My friends, who think I’m crazy but humor me and show me a good time. My pets, who also humor me and shower me with affection. Well, as much as cats shower anyone with affection. The internet, which has helped me meet a lot of cool people and let me know I’m not alone in some of my weirder fandoms. Nature. My new car. That I’m able to mostly support myself without having to default on student loans or anything. That I’m on top of my debt (student loans and credit cards). All kinds of things.
