Reviewer on Fire

Man. Sometimes a movie is just freakin’ hard to review.
“Man on Fire” is definitely hard to review.
But I did it.
Writing the review really made me start to question my ability to see a movie the way that the average moviegoer does. I mean, the people at the screening really liked it and I thought it was pretty bad. It’s tops at the box office for the weekend, even.
Yikes.
I’m not entirely sure how my review came out – it’s less a review and more an essay about the reviewer/audience divide. Hope it’s okay.
