10 years ago: Hm, that would be August 1995. About to enter my senior year of high school, which was a crazy year (3 AP classes at once: English, Chemistry, Calculus. Passed ’em all with flying colors and got two 4s and a 3 on the exams in ’96).
5 years ago: August 2000. Getting ready to go to grad school. Yikes. Hardest year of my life, Stanford. But at least now I know I can survive that kind of crap.
1 year ago: August 2004. Um… working at Mom’s learning center and hating it, getting ready for going back to substitute teaching (which I also didn’t like much).
Today: Working as a tech writer, which I dig. Tutoring my one remaining private student tonight.
Tomorrow: Work, then Aikido. Yay.
5 snacks I enjoy: Carrots with ranch dressing, fruit, ice cream, popcorn, chocolate in almost any form.
