Eek!

Well, it looks like it just might happen. A local fleet manager has several Honda Civics that match what I’m looking for and can cut me a good deal. I am now just trying to decide for sure if I really want to get it and which color I want (creepy “Shoreline Mist” which looks like champagne on an overcast day, silver, or black).

I’m going down tomorrow to frown at them some more and test drive one and will then make my decision. The guy was trying (in a low key way) to get me to decide today, because “they might sell and we’re not getting any more 2003s in” but I figure, hell, if he sells all three stick shift Civic LX sedans this weekend, I clearly was not destined to own one because only an act of God would make THAT happen. And anyway, there are other dealerships.

So we’ll see.

Now I just gotta find affordable car insurance that isn’t sucky. AAA has a pretty good deal, and a good rep, I might go with them. Wish me luck.
