The last Monday Mission! I feel like crying…
- In the last week, what happened that made you feel loved beyond your wildest dreams? [from MM 1.0]
Hm… I was having a rough time on Friday and the bf came over to pick me up for our date and I explained what was going on and he gave me a really sweet hug and suggested we stick the perpetrator of my rough time in a sack and push said person down the stairs. He always knows what to say to make me laugh. - What was the last audio CD you paid money for? [from MM 1.3]
Hm… I haven’t bought any CDs in ages because I try not to buy ’em around gift-giving occasions. I can’t honestly remember the last one I paid money for. I did buy the new Le Orchestra de Chambre Noir CD, but that was a while back and there was probably another CD or two I’ve bought since then. - Has someone you know ever told you they had a terminal illness? What was it like for you when you found out. How did that change your relationship with them? [from MM 2.45]
Nope. I’ve been informed that someone I knew had a terminal illness, but not until it was too late for it to really change my relationship with them. - Do you have an accent? Are there any phrases or words you say that tip folks that you aren’t from around these parts? [from MM 2.38]
Well, I sound just like a California girl, but since I live in California, I fit in just fine. - What’s the difference between being a Father, and being a Daddy? [from MM 3.25]
Father is a biological title. Daddy is a relationship title. You can be a father without being a daddy, and vice versa. - What is the most recent thing guilt has motivated you to do? [from MM 2.50]
Emailed the folks I was at a party with yesterday to tell them that I’ve come down sick with something. I felt guilty that I exposed them to whatever it is I have (although admittedly I didn’t realize I was sick when I was at the party… but I was kind of avoiding taking my temperature and whatnot because I was afraid I was sick and really wanted to go). - How do you feel about tips and tipping? Do you feel obligated to tip even if your service is bad because you know the servers don’t get paid much? If you’ve ever relied on tips for your income, how do you feel when you don’t get any? [This is a new one, had to throw in at least one more hot topic before I sign off]
I tip. I resent that it’s a necessity, but I know that folks who get tips depend on them and are paid less on the assumption that they’ll get tips. On the bright side, though, you can tip high or low as a form of feedback, which is good. I’ve never depended on tips myself, though.
