- What do you like most about your job?
Well, having so many jobs gives me a lot of flexibility. I can pretty much set my own hours for the freelancing and the private tutoring. - What do you like least about your job?
Subbing isn’t reliable (I can sub anywhere from one day a month to every weekday), and sometimes I just get tired of spending so much time around kids. The freelancing isn’t all that reliable either. - When you have a bad day at work it’s usually because _____…
…the students have been really obnoxious, the bureaucracy has been more annoying than usual, something like that. - What other career(s) are you interested in?
Really, I just want to get hired by a newspaper to do movie reviewing full time. That’s my ultimate goal. I could sort of see myself teaching at the college level, maybe. That might be fun. Or working as a novelist. But for that to work I’d have to get someone rich to be my patron or something because it doesn’t pay well at all. :)
