Well, nicknames can tell you something about a person. Or the lack of a nickname, in my case. :) They can set you apart or help you blend in. They can be a source of mockery or admiration. They can honor people your parents admired. - How is slang invented?
Hm… someone makes a connection between a random word and a thing and starts using the random word. It spreads meme-like through the population. Voila. - Is it better to loved and lost, or not loved and not hurt? Why?
Loved and lost. Being alone sucks and at least if you’ve loved and lost you have the memory of what love is like.
