A few items of note, about which I would blog in depth if I had any energy at all:
I now have Das Keyboard installed on my work computer. I am somewhat bummed that it’s not ergonomic – time to start actually taking those little breaks that my break reminder software dings about – but hot damn does it make me feel totally awesome. I luff my new keyboard.
My bestest ‘net pal Annie left last night. I am bummed about that. Oh, well. I’ve still got a bunch of photos to put up from her visit, so that’ll be fun. Some are up already.
I am totall exhausted, but it’s the fun kind of exhausted – a week of running around like a madwoman with Annie has utterly drained me but we had a blast. Check out what all we did:
- Visited The Mystery Spot
- Saw redwood trees and Felton Cemetery.
- Hung out in downtown Santa Cruz and had dinner with two of the bf’s friends.
- Visited Alcatraz
- Drove up to Sacramento where we saw the Railway museum and Old Town, then a play by a gal I used to babysit.
- Visited The Monterey Bay Aquarium.
- Stopped at Casa De Fruta.
- Saw The Winchester Mystery House.
- Had an awesome girls night out with two o fmy old galpals.
- Wine-tasted at Bonny Doon and tried to see Mission Santa Cruz (it was closed).
- Watched a lot of TV.
- Ate a lot of random, awesome food.
All in all, an awesome week. I’m only sorry that she couldn’t stay longer.
