Fortunately, I recovered enough mental acuity to recall that I have a meeting with a bigwig at the local school district. Good thing… I almost went to the stable with Mom. I can just see that phone call.
“Erm, Hi. Sorry I totally forgot about our meeting… want to try again? Please! I want to work for you!”
